Debut EP Release "Dirty Roots" July 2005

Exuberant and infectious...
... a spirited romp in the art of song.

From "Dirty Roots" springs offerings of good things to come.

Sculpting from a wide range of influences spanning, folk to funk, blues to metal, The Curbsiders manage to blend everyone’s ideas into a unique fusion of modern alternative rock. Jayme's poetic ramble flows evenly with the eclectic combination of Justin's hard hitting drumlines; Steve and Lowell's interwoven layers of melodic mayhem; and Solo's deeply resonant bass. To see CMC play live is to experience the sweaty essence of rock-n-roll; from soft acoustic intros to solid driving songs, then suddenly into precarious improvisational jams and back again.

It is the sound of a long and winding road trip, a carnival with a crooked ferris wheel...
... a garden as full of weeds as it is flowers.

After playing together for more than a decade in various basements, barns and rehearsal spaces, drummer Justin Therien, guitarists Steve Jack and Lowell Friesen, joined forces with bassist Solo Kaliekini and vocalist Jayme Mckillop in the fall of 2004 to form the current lineup of Curbside Music Co..
The Curbside Crew has worked hard at creating a genuine and articulate set of original music and are proud to have released their first CD in July of 2005; a six song EP entitled "Dirty Roots".

It is but a taste of things to come; a crack in the door to The Rabbithole.
A sneak peak at the bright future of this musical collective.
Be a part of the evolution.
