Bio

Those on the hunt for the next breakout artist need look no further. In just little over a year, Curtis Ryan has proven himself to be a nonstop Electronic tour de force, garnering sizeable attention in the New York music scene. The Guyana native broke onto the scene with the ultimate summer track, his 1st hit single “Body Banging.” Its alluring cadence and hip-swinging melody grabbed the attention of listeners resulting in 40,000 music video views online in just a few months. But Curtis Ryan was just getting started. Following the success of that release, Curtis Ryan made the bold decision to take his music in a new direction. Over the years following his move to the United States, he became exposed to, and developed a strong passion for Dance/Electronica and Reggae music. On a faithful evening in an underground nightclub, Curtis Ryan couldn’t help but notice the way the electronic rhythms captivated its audience, moving bodies in a sea of pulsating beats. At that moment he knew he wanted to dabble in all three genres. He found his way into the studio with a new creative team and a new vision, and underwent a daring transition. Despite all the success he enjoys, Curtis Ryan never forgets the incentive that propels him forward: “I want to bring joy to people. I want to see them happy. I hope that when fans listen to what I produce it can help brighten their day. Other than that, everything else, all the other benefits, is just a plus.” His new hit dance single “Tonight” currently on iTunes and premiered on MTV. His music video directed Adolphus Amissah featuring Elle Michelle (America’s Next Top Model). His upcoming album "The Curtis Ryan Project" will have Dance hits, slow Reggae and upbeat Pop songs set to hit stores summer 2017.
