Bio
Longtime songwriter and musician Curtis left the lower East Side music scene in 2009 for greener pastures in the Hudson Valley. Tales of a Traveler is his first independent record, released August 2010. The record is a cycle of songs from throughout Curtis' life that weaves together themes of exploration without and within, love and other perilous voyages. Drawing upon a variety of musical styles - folk, country, jazz and swing, blues and rock and roll - with an astounding cast of some of the best musicians from NYC and the Hudson Vally. Co-produced with Fred Gillen Jr. at Woody's House in Croton-on-Hudson, Tales of a Traveler is fifteen songs of strength humor beauty and wonder.
