Bio

KidsLive’s first CD takes the fun of the kid-driven live experience and puts some serious musical power behind it, debuting Curtis Childs (vocals, guitar), Luke Howard (drums, vocals), and the Oak Arbor kids (singing/yelling). Reade McCardell (guitar, vocals) takes a first foray into the world of kids’ music. His band Fresh Cut Salads’ album Vitamin Sea was mixed by Shelly Yakus, his solo album is currently being produced by Philadelphia’s Ivan Funk, and his runner up video in Aimee Mann’s “Freeway” contest was referenced by Mann in an interview with David Dye on WXPN. Local musician Randy Wagner (bass) lends a dynamic, pumping foundation for each track. Jim Verdeur (bass harmonica), is a multi-instrument performer who has shared the stage with, among many others, the mighty Devo. His most recent publication was a drum set instructional book with Carl Fisher Publications, and he is also a regionally endorsed artist with Yamaha Musical Instruments. Produced by Edwin Herder, whose Fendertones project has been viewed more than 260,000 times worldwide and received kudos from members of Brian Wilson’s band, the album has a tight, fresh, rock-driven sound that is sure to appeal to little kids, big kids, and parents alike.
