"Curt Rivera: ‘Becoming Legendary’ [Mixtape]"

South Carolina native, Curt Rivera, has let off his new mixtape, “Becoming Legendary“. This mixtape represents a journey of hard work, endless studio hours, and unmatched drive tempered by keen business sense. The project features 15 tracks and contributions from Cardigan, Maximillian Speed, and Swazzo. My top 3 songs are:

1. Here I Come

2. Superficial Girl [F/ Cardigan, Maximillian Speed, Swazzo]

3. New Kid [Freestyle] - Kiasomellow

"Mixtape Review: Curt Rivera “Becoming Legendary”"

South Carolina’s own, Curt Rivera drops his 3rd mixtape “Becoming Legendary”. The first 2 tracks are both really intros lol but whatever.

His voice has a “new Common” tone/breathy delivery to it. He has a pretty cool sound and a lot of “freestyles” (which is what a mixtape should be, a mix of freestyles and originals).

Lyrics are cool. The cover is a little bland but he has a cool style. I’m interested in seeing what he does. - Essince

"Curt Rivera- Become Legendary (Mixtape)"

Curt Rivera is an extremely dope Indie rapper who just released his third mixtape, titled Becoming Legendary. We are really digging Curt’s original southern fried sound, and his passionate drive. As Curt continues his grind, he will keep dropping dope content. In the meantime, enjoy this new mixtape, and let us know what you think! - Repeat One

Bio

Curtis A. Rivera (Born April 12, 1986) better known by his stage name Curt Rivera is an American rapper affiliated with indie label Southern Comfort Ent. He is of Panamanian and Columbian decent and is from Columbus, GA but currently resides in Columbia, SC. Curt Rivera first introduced his first project "Payday" in August of 2010. The project recieved little if no attention due to his lack of lyricism and ability to make effective songs. This did not stop Curt Rivera. In 2011 he released another project called "The Lay Off" which basically told a story of a college graduate being laid off several times, facing eviction and financial problems and finding a way to defeat the odds. Kashif Wingo known as (swazzo) was the executive producer and guided the new artist to reach new goals such as magazine and blog placements. Curt uses creative lyricism with a touch of humor to please his audience. Currently he is recently dropped his 3rd project entitled "Becoming Legendary" in March. Features include Maximillian Speed (Philadelphia hip hop artist) Cardigan (New York hip hop artist) and several others. Becoming Legendary is more that just a mixtape title, it is his way of life. Curt Rivera gets his inspiration to become legendary from artist such as Nas, Big Boi, Jay-Z, Camp Lo and ect.
