CUSHIONS is the band, and NUMB ONE is the album... released just a few days ago. We are a two piece: Rob Erickson (guitars and vocals) with Kristin Worrall (drums). We recorded here in Brooklyn at Douglass Recording and at my home studio in Ditmas Park. The album was mixed and mastered by my old friend KRAMER of Shimmy Disc / Bongwater infamy... we are very proud of our urgent little neo-psych art ska, slippery bump ‘n grind way of things. Eighteen tracks and 34 minutes, it feels lean and fun and bright light summery to us. We have deals with Alpage Records in France and Sweet Dreams Press in Japan for the vinyl release coming this Fall, as well as our own Throw Pillow Records in the states.
