"THESE LATTER DAYS"

“These Latter Days”

By C. Westly Tucker

Most of the time, I need to play a CD 2-3 times to decide if I like it. But that was not the case with “These Latter Days” by C. Westly Tucker. I found myself turning up the volume, bouncing my head, and singing praises to God with the first song “U DO,” a catchy tune that basically reminds me that God has truly done “all he said he would do.” And unlike some CDs, where the good, catchy songs are loaded up front, this CD consistently delivers a long playlist of songs that could become my favorites. Some include, “Jesus is All,” a new take on a tried and true gospel song. Tucker also remakes the beautiful “Open our Eyes,” and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” two more staples in a gospel lover’s collection. Another favorite from this sultry, yet amazingly believable artist is “Jesus is all I need.” It truly is a love song to the Savior. The title track, “These Latter Days,” is a prophetic rendition of what the artist sees in today’s world—it definitely gives you something to think about, including the grace God has shown us during this time. He ends this stellar album with a touching and emotional song—“Where You Are,” which is written to a loved one who has died. The ballad reminds me of the beauty of the promise of eternal life—a very comforting reminder.

This is a great album for non-traditional gospel music lovers as well as lovers of good music with beautiful lyrics. It’ll make you want more from this artist.

"THESE LATTER DAYS"

WOW is all I can say....... This brother has it going on. Touch old school listening. His voice comes across as smooth listening. The Song : "Your A Mystery To Me" is a beautiful ballad that touches the soul. The track entitled "These Latter Days" is the signs of the times this song hits the point of what is going on in the world today. And my all time favorite UDO you can actually worship with a smooth beat. We want more from C.Westly....... - WKGI - INDIANA Ron White
