C-89.5 Worldwide has been playing Seattle’s Hottest Music for over 35 years. The station is owned by the Seattle Public Schools and is operated by students of Nathan Hale High School as part of a radio broadcasting course. Production, programming, music selection, copy, and on-air hosting are done by the student staff. Some regular programs are hosted by alumni and other volunteers.
Over the years they have been growing, and today they have over 100,000 weekly listeners mostly teens to 34. With their new broadcast facility on Cougar Mountain their extended coverage will ensure more people in the Puget Sound Region can hear them loud and clear. By broadcasting on their website, they are able to reach a large and diverse audience from all over the world!
C-89.5 Worldwide is recognized as a leader in dance music. C-89.5 is monitored by BDS and MediaBase, and is one of eight stations that factor in to the Billboard Dance chart. They have won numerous awards and recognitions not only for being a premier high-school facility, but also for being an influential radio station on the cutting-edge of dance music. Fast rising US production/DJ duo, CyberSutra follow up their summer anthem "Summer Sutra" with the buzzing new electro charged vocal stormer, "I See Fire". Already tipped by Radio One's Judge Jules and currently #29 in the Billboard Charts.
(DJ Scott Binder has recently been on his show whilst in the UK) and with "I See Fire" about to bust wide open on promo ahead of its end of January 2009 release, big things are predicted for this hard-working new partnership.
CyberSutra is a live electronic music duo that Scott Binder created with his good friend and talented producer, Naite Heal. CyberSutra is designed to bring even more elements of live performance into dance music while reaching out around the globe to collaborate with top vocalist on sensational new tracks. Although the birth of CyberSutra is recent, they have already finished tracks with notable vocalists such as Marcia Juell, who is featured in Matt Darey's hit single, "Beautiful Day", and Alessia Kay(Rome,Italy who is featured on "The Alchemist".
