I was involved in a ladies quartet many years ago which released a cassette tape. We used one of my original tunes as the title track, "Pressing On". In 2005 I released a CD with 12 original pieces. The CD is entitled "What's Holding You Back?" Currently CJOA the Christian radio station in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada is giving airplay to 3 of the tracks on that CD. The tracks are, "Mrs. Collett's Song (Be Still and Know That I Am God)", "Broken in the Master's Hand", and "Faith".

Bio
I was raised in a strong Christian church and that has been my strongest influence. My faith in Jesus Christ and the hymns of the past have shaped my musical path. I enjoy many genres of music, and have experimented with classical and even the occasional rock song but I think most of my work falls into the folk style.
The other side of my writing comes out as comedy. I've written many songs for special events, such as judo club year end banquets, school events, fund raisers, retirement parties and weddings. I enjoy spoofing other artists or using old folk songs to add some fun to these events.
Whether I'm doing serious writing about subjects that really matter to me, or goofing around, I love using words to express how I feel or to bring a smile to someone's face.
