Cyrano de Bergerac is one of the greatest love stories ever told. Cyrano himself is a passionate man whose great white plume, his panache, was to make himself in all things admirable. It is his cape, his coat, his shield. For many, Cyrano's purity of purpose and unyielding honour serves as a reminder to us that, perhaps, there once was a time when a person was judged by more than the weight of their gold purse.
Cy Young is generally considered one of the greatest pitchers of all time. Not only is he a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame (elected in 1937), but the Cy Young Award, the annual award given to the best major league pitcher in each league, is named in his honor.
Originally from Greenville, NC. Cyrano Sinatra (aka Cy Yung) only began rapping for fun, freestyling with his friends. Always a fan of hip-hop, from the beginning he was unafraid to go against the grain to uncover truth and reveal the real. Cyrano grew up during the "Golden Age" of HipHop & was a singer with X-Man Productions before realizing that he had talent as a lyricist and emcee, so he is the true definition of a "double threat." Focusing on rapping in 2004 Cyrano released his 1st DIGITAL release "HipHop 4 Dummiez" in 2005. Earning a spot on the rosters of Free At Last Music Group & Backpackers Anonymous Music Group, Cyrano began 2 albums in 2008. "Soul Train Dancer" is a FREE release featuring soulful samples, thought-provoking lyrics, and is produced by JSLIKK. "Back 2 Lyfe" is an upcoming digital release produced entirely by CENTRIC. Cyrano has worked with many producers, emcees & singers across the globe, and is ready, willing and available to rock the mic anywhere. He's performed on stages across the Triangle area of North Carolina, and has opened or performed with local legends and up-and-coming emcees as part of the new #NCHIPHOP movement. He has dubbed his stage show "The Cyrano Experience," and is preparing his next mixtape, "Delaghetto."
