When one thinks of the name Cyres they will automaticly think of the sun above. With the sun being the source of all life, and light it is only right to hold such a magical name. Music producer,recording artist Cyres Havana obtained his name from the Babylonian king,conqueror Cyrus the great. It is a new day and new beginning for the music industry we now know of. Hailing from the great city of New York he brings a universal prescence to any room he stands in.
Born to the world by the name of Michael Williams, but he is better known by the name of Cyres. He was born on the early morning of April 8th,1989 in The Bronx,New York. His interest in music started at the young age of eleven. He then picked up a trumpet in the 6th grade and started to learn sheet music. Taking an interest in beats he made drum loops on a MPC beat machine. By growing up in The Bronx and Queens one would think Cyres is just another New York Emcee. The 20 year old is far from that, his strong New York appeal,versatility, and continuous drive for success,love and respect places him in a timeless future. With a hustler's state of mind, a heart full of courage and dedication, there is a force so driven that it can be seen miles away. His sounds,production,lyrics and delivery are phenominal and catchy. Thinking like a mogul he created the Federal District brand which is an independent record label. "My style of music is very pop-radio like", says Cyres. "I always have the melodies for the females,the drums guys can rock out to, music the hustlers can feel, something for everyone in any situation,place or time. I have that good guy approach but with a bad boy swagger." On that note, there is only one word for him, boundless.
Since 2008 Cyres has gained respect and has been placed on mixtapes from some of the major players in the mixtape world (Dj Black Jesus,Dj Double R,Dj Espee). Currently he is working on his mixtape series Empire Epidemic featuring the hottest independent and major artists. Part one was hosted by Panama (HBO's The Wire), and part two the "New York Edition" was hosted by Dj Black Jesus (2G7 Ent). Part three will be hosted by Dj Espee (BWS Dj's/The Real Dj's) and Co-Hosted by Dj Frankie Flava (WTM/Federal District Dj's). "Out Of The STARGATE" is a solo mixtape project he is working on, strictly for his fans, which is going to be hosted by Dj Smallz . Also he is very excited to be working on his debut EP "Guy Like Me" with music production from Cyres himself. As a music producer Cyres is currently working with numerous independent, and major artist. His production generes include Pop,Rap and R&B. In 2010 it’s going to be a new beginning for Federal District Records. Be prepared to keep your sunglasses near because the road ahead of him is illuminated brightly!
