Bio

Australian singer, songwriter and recording artist, CZARINA, is one talented lady with a number of catchy and easy-listening original tunes.
She is a positive force in the industry and continues to write and work hard in the studio with amazing producers.
Her latest song, ‘My Soul’, was inspired by her favorite novel, “The Host” by Stephenie Meyer.
Czarina wrote this beautiful ballad while playing around on the piano, feeling inspired after having read the book a second time, and had it produced at Tender Trap Studios in Melbourne. The final production has Anita Quayle’s lovely instrumentation on the cello.
Based in Melbourne, Australia but born in the Philippines, Czarina has had music running through her veins since she was a child. Through joining various choirs and bands, she gained more insight into her love for creating music and in time found she was working with a number of great producers, singers, dancers, instrumentalists and rappers.
Damion, of MobHitz Entertainment produced 15 tracks for her album demo in 2007 (all written by Czarina). Her positive attitude towards life is reflected in her writing and her main musical influence is Janet Jackson.
In 2007 Czarina was featured in the Melbourne publication, MX, and was among the Top 30 Finalists in the ‘New Artists to Radio’ Competition and the Top 10 Finalists (Urban category) in the ‘MusicOz’ Competition.
Czarina’s album, ‘Diamond Sunset’ (2010), is available on iTunes.
And her lead single from the album, ‘Good Luck Charm’, as seen on YouTube, is available on Digisingle.
In 2010 Czarina traveled to the USA with producer, Michael A Puskas, to complete “Diamond Sunset”, which features rappers Cee (Canada) and Ne’illa (USA). The album consists of a mixture of original songs written by Czarina, and songs by other writers from the UK and USA. The album was mixed by Joey Ayoub at the Sound Salon, Hollywood, and mastered by Drew Lavyne, New York.
Half of 2011 is already over, but it hasn’t been wasted. Czarina had a number of live performances in clubs, pubs, restaurants and special events.
And after working closely with guitarist, bassist and music tutor, Lisae Sew Hoy, Czarina has found more depth and love for live acoustic gigs. Having other talented musicians, Patrick Rankine (guitar), Vineeta Maruti (violin), Aaron Adeva (vocals) and dancers, (Vince, Shane, Marty and Trevor) performing along side her at some of her shows this year as well, she has enjoyed her time so far.
Currently, Czarina continues to lend her vocal and writing talents with a number of collaborations. And as a side project has written a children’s book (more information coming soon!)
You may have also seen Czarina briefly on screen as she also does extra modeling work for commercials and tv shows.
