I'm an unsigned underground Gospel Rap Artist, so I haven't really had much radio play. I did have a hit single off of my first Gospel Rap album, "It's Not About Me", and the hit single was called, "Get Ya Praise On". The single was being played here in Natchez, MS, at the radio station W.T.Y.J 97.7FM.

My name is Quentin L. Nelson. I'm from Natchez, MS, and I'm 23 years of age. I started writing music when I was 8 years old, not knowing at the time, that I would be making a living out of it someday. In 2006, I got into church very deeply, and that's when I began Gospel Rapping. I don't consider myself as a Holy Hip Hop Artist, because I know the true meaning of Hip Hop and how Hip Hop came about. I also don't consider myself as a Christian Rap Artist, because I feel, that it's more people to reach besides Christians, and I am a Christian myself. I consider myself a Gospel Rap Artist, because the Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ, and it is for anyone to grab ahold of. My music is designed to reach not just Christians, but to reach anyone that is lost, and anyone that doesn't believe in Jesus Christ. My music is hope for the world, and I say that, because it's real, inspiring, empowering, honest, encouraging, and most of all it's blessed with the ability to change a person from being worldly, to being Holy. What sets me apart from other bands is that I'm very dedicated to my work, and I don't write music unless I hear directly from God. Another thing that sets me apart from other bands is that, I never praise myself. I understand, that it's not about me, but it's all about giving God the praise that he deserve, and winning souls back to him. Most bands/artists write music talking about themselves and how much money they have and so on, when they really should decrease themselves 100%, and write songs to inspire the world to get to know Jesus Christ. I'm sold out for Jesus Christ, and I write music to win souls back to him.
