Daco Junior, born Sebastian Da Costa hails from South-Central Africa, Angola. Daco moved to Northern Europe Finland in 1990 alongside his father and mother, in search for a better life. When growing up, the talented youngster soon started expressing himself through writing lyrics and producing music.
Daco Junior made his breaktrough after releasing debut single “Sane” in December, 2010. About half a year later Daco released a follow up single ‘Gravity’, which charted as
number #1 multiple times in different radio stations. In total ‘Gravity’ spent over 15 weeks in top positions of Finlands national radio chart. Daco Junior has been notably acknowledged by finnish media outlets such as MTV Finland, NRJ, Voice and YleX.
Daco Juniors next single ‘How Far’ (featuring the internationally acclaimed hip hop duo Madcon) is due to be released 2nd of November 2012. Debut album will be released in the early beginning of 2013 (Territories: Finland and Baltics).
