1997 _The band’s birth. First live gigs.
1998 _30 concerts. First demo CD.
1999 _ 30 concerts. Second demo CD. Winner of the nationwide contest «Newcomer 99» out of 400
bands.
2000 _ More concerts. Another victory of a nationwide newcomer contest «Music Act 2000» out of 630
Bands with the live showdown at Volkshaus in Zurich. Record deal with WARNER Music.
2001 _ Debut album «Playin’ Hooky». Three videos in hot rotation at VIVA SWIZZ. Position 44 in the album
charts. Nominated for COMET und PRIX WALO. 50 concerts in Switzerland and Germany. Support
gigs in Germany for the American band «Wheatus».
2002 _ Second album «Bound For Nowhere». Album charted at position 15. 73 concerts in Switzerland,
Germany, Austria and Denmark. Support act of «Die Happy» in Germany.
2004 _ Most successful single of a Swiss band: «She Cries For Someone Else» became a huge radio hit.
Album «Seasons Change» charted at position 3. Sold out tour. Support gigs for «Bryan Adams»,
«Alanis Morissette» and «Travis».
2006 _ Fourth album «Superbixen». Album charts position 4. Big club- and festival tour. 3 singles on the
radios.
2008 _ Fifth album «The Theory Of Everything» charted at position 2. Gold Award. «Taking Your Love» be-
comes a huge airplay hit and the most successful single in the band’s history. Nominated for best
Swiss Rock Song from the Swiss National TV. Sold out tour. Support gig for James Blunt.
2009_ China Tour and China release of the album "The Theory Of Everything"
2010_ Sixth album "The Classics" charted at position 2 again! Dada recorded their biggest hits with an orchestra.
2011_ Solo record of DADA singer Pee Wirz: " Oh, traveller" was at position 21 in the charts. Check out: www.peewirz.com
