Bio

Formed in 2011 by Marcus Kitchen (guitars, keys, beats, drums, and percussion) and Scott Haldeman (drums, beats, and percussion). The two started practicing in basements or any available space. Before long a bass player and keyboardist were added, but short lived. The two played open mics and small gigs around Philly as a two piece for a time, until they were approached by friend Rich Oppenheimer after a show. He insisted that he had to play with the group and has since. Shortly after Oppenheimer joined the group, bass player (and talented drummer) Josh Apner was enlisted to the ranks. The four-piece played several shows in Philly over the summer of 2012, including the historic Trocadero Theatre. In the fall of 2012 bassist Apner left the group due to time constraints and commitment to other projects (Air is Human; Something Like a Monument). After the departure of Apner, Oppenheimer switched from rhythm guitars to baritone guitars. If you've never heard of a baritone guitar, they provide quite a warm and deep tone but still retain the six-string guitar twang. Continuing on as three-piece ever since, the group has written, recorded, and released two albums since January of 2013.
