DAE JONES

Born on March 22, Sade “Dae-Jones” Grant was pre-destined to be a star. She was raised in the notorious "Cabrini Green" Projects in Chicago, IL to Annette Trotter and Reginald Grant. After her 1st birthday Dae was adopted by foster parent Gloria Fluckes. Both, her foster mother and biological mother fell victim to the drugs from the streets of Cabrini. This made it very hard forDae as a toddler. Raised in poverty the struggle was embedded into her character. After many mishaps, Dae’ had to make the decision whether she wanted more. Dae stayed focused in school maintaining “A’s” and “B’s” keeping both friends and family proud of her. With singing being her passion Dae was determined to be a star. With guidance she, graced the walls of Cabrini with her amazing voice and dancing skills. Influenced by Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, TLC, Michael and Janet Jackson, her talent grew and attracted the attention of many. Because dancing dominated the streets of Chicago, Dae started dancing more. She danced in several talents shows snatching many 1st place prizes with her dance troupe. Dancing was the light for Dae, one that keep her into music and out of trouble. Later on in High School, Dae had made the decision that she wanted to utilize both talents. She joined a singing/dance group "Abintra" (which means from within). With her new group in place Dae, ripped the stages of many school/Local talent shows, and assemblies. Due to differences the group wasn’t able to maintain therefore she departed the group. Still determined, Dae turned to a family friend who was also a promoter. With the help of the promoter, Dae started her endeavor to becoming a star. Since the hook-up, with Black Money Ent., and her back-up dancers (The lovely ladies) behind her, Dae has opened for major artist like Chris Brown, Bow Wow, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Chicago's own Shawnna, Young Dro, Rich Boi, and Jim Jones. She has hit the stage with Chicago's own Boo (from The Rap Duo Boo & Gotti), and Chicago's youngest celebrity "Da Pope". Dae is featured on various mix tapes and is now preparing for her own debut album,” Fixtape” (her version of a mixtape). Daeis ready to take the world by storm...GET READY FOR THE INVASION!!!!
