Camden New Jersey in the early 1990's, OP III discovered his musical talent and had a vision to form a group. Enter Wan-Miz, JL Jupiter & JahBorn. The Nutrees were born. 4 teens that are all close friends that had a collective goal, music. The Nutrees produce their own music and has released 3 mixtapes to date. They have performed at many inner city venues in their community, small colleges, and The Meadowlands in East Rutherford NJ. The Nutrees continue to blaze the local venues in South Jersey and in Philadelphia.
Mid 1990's, RST (Restored Soldier) joined the military and began to craft a niche for ryhmes. As a distant member of The Nutrees, RST still represented The Nutrees even from overseas in open mic forums in Italy and Germany. RST continues to produce tracks for himself and The Nutrees.
Bystorm is the epitome of a student of Hip Hop. With his knowledge of Hip Hop and creative wisdom, Bystorm continues to recreate and reinvent himself. Bystorm continues to give back to Hip Hop with his knowledge and creativity through productions and songwriting ability.
Yung Cyph is a student of the new Hip Hop culture with an old school trend. His creativity of productions, songwriting, and dancing ability catapults him to the forefront of what Hip Hop should be. Has performed at various venues in Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. A phenominal artists that will set the trend for future artists that follow.
DA-FAM consists of all this creativity merged into one unit. We have merged all of our collective talents for one goal. Restore Hip Hop to where it needs to be with good music that all ages can listen to. DA-FAM has performed collectively in Northern Virginia.
