Lyrics

Mexican Bird

Written By: Dag King (C) 2007 Audiomoxie Music (BMI)

There's a Mexican bird
Whispering softly in my ear
Son, what are you doin' here

Fly like the bird
I just wanted to fly
With a wind underwing
I wanted to be
free just like you

And cover the hills and streams
And much
More than I could ever dream
Fly over treetops
And on into the sun

You only live once
You better break out
Be the best you can be
With the hills and the seas
It's all out there to be seen

There's a Mexican bird
Whispering softly in my ears
Son, what are you doin' here

Covering hills and streams
And much
More than I could ever dream
Flyin' over treetops
And on into the sun

And beyond
Into the sun
