Dai i

Dai i, born David Powell on February 26, 1997 to Ingrid and Wellington Powell, was introduced to music by his father at the age of seven. This introduction ignited a musical flame which continued to blazed throughout his early years. He attended Oberlin High School where he developed his talent and love for music. His high school winning "All Together Sing", a local talent contest for secondary school choirs, in 2010 was a major milestone for him as it influenced him towards pursuing a music career.  June 2017 Dai i debuted his first single, “God nah sleep”, a song co-written by his Father and himself. Dai i is definitely a man of God as he upholds positivity in his music.  He  landed two major performances in Eleuthera  Bahamas 2017 performing at Popcaan's Unruly  Fest  and in 2019, "Peace on the streets"  concert Nassau Bahamas  with artistes such as Junior Reid, Luciano, Ras Shilo, Chezidek among others.  Dai i hopes to inspire everyone  that comes across his music and especially the youths of tomorrow.
