Daisy Ricochet was originally based on the ideas of Neil Cabana. A singer/songwriter/producer from NYC who became uninterested in pursuing the typical solo career and resurrected the "will to rock" with a real band. With influences across the map including The Pixies to Swervedriver to Brian Eno, he began bringing forth his ideas to respected friend and musical colleage Matt Prine (DR's other guitar player), with just minor outlines, Matt assisted Neil in his vision of the album "Need" in the summer of 2003. Throughout the completion of the record in 2004, they played with a number of different temporary members to finally find their signature rhythm section consisting of Brett Sharbaugh(bass) from Baltimore, MD, and Carlo David (drums) of NYC.
What sets us apart from other bands is that we have great musicianship and tremendous writing skills, add that with tons of fun and we have some powerful ingredients to a band about to explode.
