Na’imah Elmore(born September 1, 1984), known as Da Joka is a female rapper from Birmingham, Alabama. She started writing, recording and performing her on music at the age of 12. In 1996, she and a childhood friend formed a rap group formerly known as Threat 2 Society, who released a debut album called “Back 2 Da Basciz” which flooded the streets with over 20,000 copies! Grinding from sun up to sun down is no option to Joka, when it comes to making sure her families has everything they need. Joka decide to go solo in 2010 to purse what she strive for most, to be the greatest female rapper alive! Bringing her own style to the music scene with her hit single “We the Crunkest”, which will be launched digitally June 22, 2010 and is available on myxer.com! She is currently working on her solo album “A Legend Befo the Money”, which will be released spring 2011! Be on the lookout for a change in Hip-Hop like Obama to the world!
