Dakarai’s reggae/fusion melodies are mellow and have meditational effects. His charismatic approach on his horns (trumpet/fugel-horn/flute) and his raspy vocals, similar to Hugh Masakela's inspires audiences-relieving them of stressful emotions and negativity. A phrase he coined, “Reflective Soundz”, due to the positive & peaceful vibrations his songs evoke. His music shares the tolerance he endured as an instrumentalist to deliver conscious messages of co-existence amongst mankind.
