Dakota Weitlauf

I was basically a city kid raised in the country. I adapted and learned. I wasn't the most popular person and I'm still not. I realized that no matter what you're feeling, music can describe it. There are so many kinds of music out there so I am not really biased. I find that I am pretty good with the mellower music. (Is mellower a word?) So many artists have inspired me but the artist who inspired me the most is Drew Collins. He plays guitar and lead worship at my old church where I used to live and I owe everything I am to him. What I think really sets me aside from other bands is my originality. I don't care what people think about me as long as I can be with either just myself or my friends. I am a very modest musician. I don't allow my music to get all racy and polluted with violence, sex, alcohol and drugs, but I reduce it to just love, heartbreak and sadness; the way it was meant to be.
