My Name is DALE!
Dale is a solo musician and has lived in Derby, UK, since birth.
His music style is different to most, a lot of you may not have even heard of Beatboxing!
The music Dale produces is Beatbox. The definition of beatbox is : Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, voice and throat.
Dale have been Beatboxing around 4-5 years and Is currently getting involved in street performance and live performances at local venues. Dale has also entered the 2012
Live and Unsigned music competition so look out for him!
Beatbox is still very much and underground type of music that only few people have heard of, many of you will know and love beatbox! However, many do not! But with no doubt, if you have never heard of this art then I’m positive you will be blown away!
The influences in Dale’s music come from artists in the beatbox community like Beardyman who a lot of you may have heard of, Rahzel the godfather of noise and Reeps One.
Dale would very much like to collaborate with Ed Sheeran as he believes they share a similar taste and style and he also uses looping equipment as does Dale. Dale would also like to work with a lot of other beatboxers and music artists like Example, Pendulum, Nero and others from a wide range of music genres!
Most people associate Beatboxing with genres like Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and RNB but Dale likes to open his arsenal of many genres including the 3 above along with music like reggae, jazz, dubstep and indie! Even a bit of blue grass if requested plus more!
Dale is currently scouring for gig opportunities, support slots, events in pubs and clubs around so look out for him!
