"I've Been Around" Artist: Dale Corn Released: May 2011.

The story of Dale Corn’s success begins in the obscurity of his school days; while his peers were chasing the musings of rock and rap acts of the day, Dale was glued to the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin and some of the great musical arrangers and bandleaders of all time: Bill May, Nelson Riddle, Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey. Dale has studied his craft well. Don’t think Dale Corn is an ersatz performer. He eschews copy-cat arrangements and goes with a fresh take on standards. He crawls into the mechanics and meaning of a song. He hones his talent and craft with the detail of an artisan. Dale Corn is the real deal!
After meeting and befriending some of Frank Sinatra, Jr and Harry Connick, Jr’s band members, Dale says everything clicked for him. Forming a band, singing... it all came together. The payoff has been a series of sell-out engagements in the Baltimore, Maryland area he calls home.

In May of 2011, Dale realized the goal of producing, recording and releasing his first CD titled “I’ve Been Around”. The title track of the CD has a dual meaning for Dale; as Dale is also a licensed Locomotive Engineer and has a love of music and rail history! The song was given to Dale by GrammyTM Award winning arranger and conductor, Patrick Williams. Williams co-wrote
the song with Ar- thur Hamilton who also wrote “Cry Me A River”. Williams also contributed a couple of arrangements to the CD.
Upon it’s release, “I’ve Been Around” has found an audi- ence and Dale Corn has increased his following. Radio airplay on several major radio stations in markets such as Philadelphia, New York, Seattle, Denver, Boston plus national exposure via airplay on syndicated radio shows, The Music of Your Life radio network, Sirius/
XM’s “Siriusly Sinatra” channel and internet radio such as The Standards Channel and The Penthouse have proven Dale Corn is an artist with universal appeal. It’s no wonder Frank Sinatra, Jr. says of Dale: “Dale’s vocal style is in the tradition of the great popular voices of the past who believed that the responsibility of the singer was to tell the story”. Dale’s debut CD is available on Amazon.com, ITunes and DaleCorn.com
