"Wonderful Life" is my current single from AMI Records Nashville. Produced by Michael Radford, it is released on their Tamara label.
As of 1/27/04 it is at Number 23 on the "Inside Country" chart from Burning country.com and is recieving airplay in the US, New Zealand, Austria and Canada.

Dale Everett writes simple songs about complex things: love, family, home. Phrases turn, emotions connect, and melodies soar. “Wonderful Life”. You sing along even though you've never heard the tune before. Dale writes from a perspective of distances, of interludes between yesterday and today, lives and the roads that lead from small towns to big cities.
He writes with authority on these subjects. You see, he really has “been there and done that”.
His musical career began just as he graduated from high school and joined a band doing covers in the honkytonks and dance halls in his native Washington State and surrounding areas. Nothing special here. Haven’t a million others guys with a guitar already done the same thing? The late northwest guitar legend Delbert Steven Hickman saw something different in a bar in Montana. He asked Dale to join his band “Applejack” and a five year musical relationship began.
That musical union took Dale across America and southern Canada. To small clubs in the Midwest to headlining shows in University field houses. From a television special for PBS, endless days on the road and finally the deafening silence of being back at home,
alone with your memories, and time that is all your own.
Since leaving the road, Dale has concentrated on writing, and last year on a whim entered a song in the Great American Song Contest. That song placed in the top ten percent of entries, and encouraged Dale to produce a demo package of songs that ultimately found its way to AMI records. “Wonderful Life” is the first single release from AMI on their Tamara label. With its catchy melody and positive story line, it is a great reflection of Dale’s talent with lyrics and instrumental layering.
