Bio

Dallas Wayde is a 20 year old Recording Artist from Salt Lake City, UT. Dallas, while bringing you a familiar mainstream sound, will find his music at the crossroads of up-beat melodies and emotional lyricism.

He has just released his first ever full-length studio album titled "So Young & So Damaged" that highlights a refreshing but familiar top-40 sound. After taking a step back from music in 2016, he spent the next year working with multiple writers and producers to create the album that he says "breaks down the stages of a toxic relationship and the damage it can do on a person's heart and mind". Dallas and the broken hearts club immediately hit the road following the drop of the new project, performing festival after festival and doing interview after interview. Throughout this process they have built up a good amount of momentum behind it. The new album is now available anywhere music is streamed or purchased worldwide.

Dallas kick-started his career by winning a national singing competition by the name of "Kidz Star USA" in 2013 and signing to RCA records. However, due to creative differences, Dallas parted ways with the label and decided to focus on building his music the way he wanted to do it. He built up a good following after he released an EP titled "Tell Me" in February 2015. He was invited to play a few huge music festivals such as South by Southwest. At the tender age of 18, he slipped into a bad place in life. Dallas has "BPD" (Borderline Personality Disorder) which means that learning to handle criticism was harder for him then most. Unfortunately, being as young as he was at the time, he became obsessed with what people thought of him and relied on an opioid drug-addiction to escape it. This took a strong toll on Dallas and his team, this was when everyone decided it was time for him to step away and find himself as a person rather than an artist.

While spending the next 18 months writing 50 of the best songs that he has ever written, he spent time getting to know himself. He successfully beat his addiction, learned how to control his disorder, and decided he was ready to step back into his passion. However, this time with a new outlook on his career. In his new album you can hear him break down personal areas in his relationship through each song, and hear his inner battle with needing to lose people to discover who he was. Now, dressed in all black and a slick jacket, Dallas hopes this album speaks for the ones who lost themselves trying to impress other people.

Dallas gains more momentum day by day, and is looking to take it to the house soon. He hopes that anyone who hears his story will realize that you should focus on being yourself, and to not try to become someone that you aren't just to make other people happy. The bottom line of this is that Dallas & The Broken Hearts Club are something special and, with this newly developed sound, are ready to put themselves on the map.
