"Damian Redd - Birth By Sleep: Genesis of Damian Redd (Album Review)"

"This album is something that has had an intense level of thought, energy and professionalism put into it, to the point that the result is something that really hits with weight, drawing your attention from the offset and working hard to maintain it throughout."..."This album comes as a genuine and welcome surprise, the detail and complexity of the project in its entirety is stunning. Certainly, the tracks within each make for something powerful to listen to in themselves, but as a completed work of art, a rare and perfectly well presented concept album, this is undeniably fresh and hugely impressive. Absolutely worth listening to in full." - Stereo Stickman

"Caught in a Fantasy – Damian Redd (reviewed by Dave Franklin)"

"What is so clever about Damian Redd’s approach at finding new ways forward, new directions for hip-hop, rap and the various urban music threads which lie at the core of this music is that instead of pushing outwards into more tenuous and fractured realms, as some artists are trying to do, he instead looks inward to pop, chilled dance floor beats and even 80’s infused electronica to create his sound. Whereas so many of his fellow artists are trying to create music by blending disparate genres which have no business hanging out with each other into chimeric and unsatisfying new styles, Redd reunites hip-hop with its pop roots."..."Actually, maybe we should stop using genres, labels, pigeon-holes altogether, after all it really is lazy journalists, like myself, who employ them to make our lives easier, after all Damian Redd clearly isn’t worried about genres and their narrow demarcations and maybe that is a lesson to all of us." - Dancing About Architecture

"Damian Redd – Caught In a Fantasy (Review & Stream)"

"The R&B rooted track is hypnotizing, contains these sultry vibes, and has Damian rapping with a style that comes across as genuine, heartfelt, and pretty infectious." - The Ratings Game

"Damian Redd Caught in a Fantasy Official Music Video"

"The track is a sultry production with salacious rhymes and lusty ambiance." - Glitter and Stilettos

"Damian Redd - Caught in a Fantasy"

"With a steady pulse and solid beat, he rhymes smooth and gets right into the love theme – what better day to put it out than V-day for all the lovers out there?" - Sleeping Bag Studios

Bio

Formerly known as Redd da Killer Bee (Porn Star, En Garde - EP, "Plain & Simple (Reprised)"), Damian Redd has gone underground just to resurface with a game plan. Starting off by reissuing the seductive lead single "Caught in a Fantasy," Damian Redd will allow the world to enter into the surface of his inner mind on the coming album, "Birth By Sleep: Genesis of Damian Redd".

Coming from St. Louis and graduating from the violin, saxophone, onto songwriting (R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop), and becoming a recording and performing artist, Damian has ventured into a new realm of music and moving more seriously in the entertainment industry.

Known as one who has always been influenced by himself, his own abilities, and his many talents, however, outside of himself, Damian Redd shows and holds massive respect for selective acclaimed artists and innovators in their own rights. Janet Jackson, Lil’ Kim, Angelina Jolie, Mariah Carey, Ludacris, Walt Disney, Halle Berry, Stan Lee, Erykah Badu, P!nk, Bruno Mars, and Katy Perry are just a few but majority of artists that he gladly tips his crown to.

Resurfacing and creating a new identity for himself, Damian Redd is here for a long, transforming, creative, and intellectual journey that starts with a Fantasy!
