Biography

Damian Marchand considers his voice to be a gift and has been singing professionally for the last five years.

He has performed locally with the Sioux Falls Municipal Band, South Dakota Chamber Orchestra, Artfalls, First Night Sioux Falls, and can be heard performing across the region at various concerts, community events and charity benefits. He is most well-known for producing and presenting his own Christmas concert, “A Captivating Christmas”. Three years running, the annual event has received outstanding commendations and features musicians from the SD Symphony, dancers and local guest performers.

When not performing, Damian works as a Computer Programmer/Analyst.

Discography

In December 2005, Damian released his debut CD of classically-styled Christmas music. In December 2007, Damian released a four song EP entitled "A Resonse to Stillness". His self-titled release, featuring pop-classical music, is scheduled to be released in 3rd quarter 2008.

Set List

Classical, pop-classical, light jazz, standards. I also perform new arrangements of well-known hymns. I do some covers of Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli including "You Raise Me Up", "When You Say You Love Me", "Per Te", "Con Te Partiro". I also cover Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Harry Connick, Jr. A typical set is 60-90 minutes with approximately 15 songs.
