Bio
Born in France, Damien has been into electronic music since its tender age. At the age of 11, Damien discovered Jean Michel Jarre and a couple years later, Kraftwerk.
Looking back at that time, its the precision and the cleanliness of the sounds that caught his attention and developed an endless passion for electronic music.
Damien started spinning records in 2001 and moved to Bristol (UK) in 2004. He teamed up with several friends to create an audio visual club night in Bristol called Cuisine.
The idea was to present innovative and interactive events which would place equal emphasis on the audio and the visual. And its at this time that Damien became known for his late marathon sets, gaining strong exprience from playing before or after international artists.
In 2008, Damien started producing music and his search of the simplexity through music began. This concept can be described as the search of the balance between elegant melodies, clinical sounds, dissonant noises and bass-heavy drums. Its to support this exploration that Damien co-founded in 2010 the record label Apologue, with Jamie Curnock, Jobody, and Patrick Bolton. He released his first EP called "Life Cycle ep" on Apologue in 2011.
Damien also works on audio visual installations with Joanie Lemercier [antivj]. They are currently working on an immersive audio visual performance called Convex.
They have already tested the show in several festivals including Bloc Festival.
