Bio

I was born in Manacor, Malloca, which is an island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea, and istead of showing preference for fishing-rods, lines and nets, I chose the strings of the Spanish guitar. I studied classical guitar and when I was about 20 I thought there were enough good classical guitar players, so, as it was not my case, I preferred to denote myself to composing my own pieces of music.
In 1992 I released my first album, and since then I have been trying to go on with my career with steadiness and coherence. This loyalty to my work and to what I do has given me the strength to be able to release a new album every 2 or 3 years with new and more mature compositions.
I have a total of 7 albums, for the moment, which I hope will make you feel the deep respect I have for the art and for all those who enjoy it.
During all these years I have had the honour of sharing the stage with musicians like Raimundo Amador, Ariel Rot, Kepa Junquera, Javier Vargas or Marc Grau. Moreover, I have been able to share musical experiences with Donovan, Lluis Llach, Raimón, DJ Sammy and with bands such as La Búsqueda, Ocults, Cap on Nam, La Fosca or Cap Pela.
I love playing with others musicians, but I just can’t help wanting to have everybody’s attention on me. So I’m slowly making my way, like a tightrope walker with no net, getting on the stage, to play solo with the ony company of my guitar and to be left alone with one and only one plot: my music.
Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Deep Purple, Byrds, Genesis, The Police, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, AC/DC are the artists I usually listen to.
Michael Hedges, Alex Degrassi and Don Ross are some of the influences under which I compose.
