Bio
Xcaliber aka Da Omen was born and raised in a section of New Orleans, LA known as Pigeon (Pidgin) Town. "Across the railroad tracks from Hollygrove" As a young Da Omen he evangelized the gospel to gangsters in the Crescent City. Xcaliber is now in the Chicagoland area trying to promote his unique style of jazz influenced Hip Poetry over musical hip hop tracks. Xcaliber has studied poetry and music at the University of New Orleans and Columbia College Chicago attempting to validate his skills as an emcee. Eventually Da Omen hopes to teach poetry to a younger generation, whether he succeeds in the music business or not.
