Feeling a bit camera shy
Bio
Growing up in Toledo, Ohio as a young boy raised by a struggling single mother with two other siblings, Damion knew that gangs, drugs and violence wasn't the path he wanted to take.
like so many of his closest friends and peers that ended up in either the "system" or dead, Damion knew that in order to a difference he had to make a difference in his life he had to find something positive to focus on and so he turned to music.
At the age of fifteen he began to collect stereo equipment, speakers and even managed to save up enough money to buy his first keyboard at a local goodwill store for $30. By the age of seventeen he was producing tracks for local artist from r&b to rap. He discovered that he discovered that he himself had more then just one gifting in the music field, not only could he produce the track, he also wrote the chorus, rapped and sang on the tracks as well as mixing it down for cd pressing.
After accepting the call of God on his life, he began to seek the Lord concerning his gifts.
As God began to elevating him in the gift of music he was led to join Victory Now International under the leadership of ambassador Nadine R. Larde'.He became one of the first musicians to lead worship, there he remains a musician, rapper,worship leader.
Damion brings a raw, in yo face new sound of gospel rap as he gives his testimony and minister to our younger generation in a way they can relate to.
