Hey. Just wanted to let you know I've listened to your new album, Broadcast For The Broken. I've probably heard it like 5-6 times already. It is awesome. I was very impressed and blown away by the album. All the songs sound great, there isn't a weak spot on the entire album. Each song is unique in its own right, and all are excellent. I also checked out the new Damn Valentines website, it is looking good. - Fan.
A modern punk band with a polished dark heart, Damn Valentines are bound to please fans of Naked Raygun or Calabrese, because of that demented energy which spurs the bounding vocals on. Like swarming maggots guitar notes come streaming into view, and the bellicose ‘In The Wake’ assumes form, flailing dementedly as invigorating Punk should. ‘Dance Away’ is a portly brooder, while ‘Don’t Breathe A Word’ explodes craftily, with brilliant taut guitar/drum unity, and their melodic hardcore style ensures flexible fire, so it’s a great start.

Damn Valentines combine elements of punk, rock, and metal to take hold of audiences with their dynamic and energetic sound. Equal parts catchy, intense, and sincere, when Damn Valentines take the stage the goal is twofold: to sonically assuault the audience and leave the stage w/ nothing left to give.
The band has played with many nationally touring acts including Billy Idol, Danzig, Wednesday 13, The Riverboat Gamblers, GWAR, & The Demolition Doll Rods. In August of 2008, Damn Valentines were selected to play The Warped Tour in support of their debut album.
Written and recorded in a year of loss, hardships, and dreams put to the test, Damn Valentines released their debut album, "BROADCAST FOR THE BROKEN...." on 1/8/08. Conceptual yet authentic, the album pulses with sincerity, energy, ache & hope.
"BROADCAST FOR THE BROKEN...."was recorded at Natural Recording Company and mastered at Mastermind Productions by Grammy award winner Trevor Sadler (Nine Inch Nails, Madonna, Cracker, Moby, Wednesday 13, Live, Soil, Crash Test Dummies).
