Bio

The punk/metal/pop hybrid known as Damon Alexander and the Ten Cent Rentals started in late 2006. Born from a tight network of seasoned musicians, the band rapidly found DIY success through various open forum computer networks such as Myspace and Youtube. Damon Alexander and the Ten Cent Rentals' catchy brand of microwave rock songs (hot and ready to serve in 2 minutes or less), combined with punchy lyrics which summarized the plots of popular films, was a concept that caught on quickly. In February 2008, the band released their debut album "Champions of the Underground", which was followed that summer by their second, "The Legendary Three Limbed Six". In the summer of 2009, a third album emerged "50,000 Fathoms Beneath the Sky", which demonstrated the evolution of their song writing and cemented the talents of the band. Damon Alexander and the Ten Cent Rentals is do to release a fourth album, entitled "ADDGRAVITY" in 2010.
