Dam Ships

Dam Ships crafts melodic, upbeat compositions that are equally at home at a crowded party, half awake in bed, or looking out through the wrought iron railings of a Montreal balcony on the first day summer. Made up of four long time friends turned band mates, they meditate on the moments of clarity in a world of commotion.

Invited to play Duckstock 2012, the festival organizer Alexandre Laplante describes Dam Ships as having "Amazing ambient riffs reminiscent of Do Make Say Think with a great groovy side". Supported by a burgeoning fan base in Montreal they will release their first EP on June 1st 2012.
