Bio

Dana Adini is a fresh and sparkling Israeli talent.
Born in Tel-Aviv, she spent a year in New-York after her military service, and since then has been an active member of several Israeli musical groups, most notably:
"HaBanot Nehama", along with Karolina and Yael Dekelbaum; Metropolin, the high profile project headed by famed producer and Musician Ofer Meiri And "Rabot Hadrachim" - her hit duet with Daniel Solomon.

Dana is also a regular in the Israeli cult TV series "HaShir Shelanu" (Our Song). Along with all these projects, Dana has been secretly working on her own international solo debut. The album - BIG GIRLS - was released May 9th 2007, and was written and composed entirely by Dana, and produced by Jonathan Levy (of Izabo).

With her fragile yet confident Menglish (Mediterranean - English) lyrics over a crunchy rock production - reminiscent of both Sixties power-pop and more current female vocalists (such as Suzanne Vega or Aimee Mann), the album received rave reviews in Israeli media.

September 2007 saw the release of HaBanot Nechama's debut album, which quickly went gold and became the biggest success of recent years in Israel, and the girls were selling out every show within hours.

Also in September, Metropolin released their second album with Dana as lead singer on many tracks, including the lead single and Video - "Ein Li Makom" (I Have No Place).
