Dana Falconberry's voice is a study n paradox; delicately soft yet powerfully dynamic, warmly inviting yet brazenly defiant, emotive yet wise beyond her years. She moved to Austin in 2005 and graced Peter & the Wolf's "Lightness" with an ethereal beauty that buffered Red Hunter's deep croon. Last year's debut EP "Paper Sailboat" established Falconberry as one of Austin's most promising singer-songwriters in her own right, encompassing a plaintive yearning surged with a bluesy restlessness.
