Dan & the Deerlicks

Born in the rich musical incubator that is Austin, TX, Dan & the Deerlicks came out wailing and can’t be put back. With a two-month residency at Romeo's and multiple performances at venues like Flipnotics, Dan & the Deerlicks has experience performing in front of some of the ATX music elite.

Comprised of singer/guitarist/songwriter- Dan Rudmann, Bassist/vocalist- Pat Molson, and Guitarist- Jordan Caulfield, the group brings together many years of experience. Dan began earning his stripes on the streets of D.C., busking and opening for touring acts as part of Magic Jack’s Traveling Band. Pat, equally comfortable fronting as he is holding down the bottom-end, gained many years of experience as a solo-performer and as a member of Blue Swamp in Miami. In Austin, Pat has played with such local faves as the Steadfast Ramblers and the Molson Twins. Jordan spent 5 years touring the east coast with Funk/Jazz/Jam band, Written Prisms, playing to full rooms and sharing the stage with nationally touring acts. Together, they have performed along side many of Austin's favorite local acts, such as The Trishas’ Liz Foster, Marshall Ford Swing Band, Ghosts Along the Brazos, and Francisco the Man.

Dan & the Deerlicks produce songs with sincerity and craft - a balance of dark blues and lighthearted folk. Their live performances are unique, forceful, soulful, relaxing, and always engaging. The debut EP from Dan & the Deerlicks, Old News, is coming soon.
