Dan and The Stage Bang

All members of the band grew up in Dallas but had never played music together until the end of the summer in 2009. Will Martin and Joshua Ray had been playing together in various bands since middle school. some of the bands they were in played local battle of the bands where Will Martin's classmate Daniel Hixon would also be the frontman for multiple bands. For about 4 years there bands would cross paths at these shows most times neither band having the same lineup as previous the previous show. Joshua Ray and Tucker Masten had multiple acoustic jam sessions over the years so Joshua knew of Tuckers ability as a writer and bassist. In the summer of 2009 Daniel Hixon left ACU to go to Nashville and see what he could make happen. He was on his way back to Dallas when he got in a car wreck. He was fine but his car was not, he was back in his home town and Joshua heard the news. Joshua invited Daniel over to do something they never made time for in highschool. Daniel, Will and Joshua were at the first jam session and Tucker was called soon after to join. An hour after Tucker met the rest of the band they all stripped down for there first photo shoot where the "abbey road" photo was taken. There after band members seldomly left Joshuas house where practice space was set up in the living room. They had 2 1/2 weeks to get an hour set together for there first show.
