With an aggressive, contemporary style and a powerful voice slightly reminiscent of Gavin Rossdale in his Bush days, New Jersey based singer/songwriter Dan Anibal is the consummate rock performer. From the hard driving title track, to the closing power ballad, "I'll Stay with You", Anibal shows many different sides on this debut recording.
The CD contains eleven songs as well as a hidden acoustic track that showcase not only his vocal abilities but great instrumental and lyrical chops as well. Standout tracks include, "Affliction" and "Your Smile" which could easily be a single on any alternative radio station. "The Circus" is definitely one of the best debut albums I have heard in a while and hopefully commercial success is not too far in the future for this talented artist.

Discography
Dan's latest studio album and follow up to The Circus, Take Me There, has been released early this year. It's getting high volume of streams on Spotify and on other streaming platforms and internet radio, Shy Love leads the way, Take Me There, and Humor Me are getting much attention, also Lucky Hand, Never Knew, and These Sounds. Dan and his band will be on tour, dates coming soon.
Dan Anibal and his Band performed at Digital Cafe Tour Series in NYC in a professionally filmed show. The video clip of his song "I'll Stay with you" is now available at www.DanAnibal.com and on Myspace.com/dananibal

'The Circus' is his Debut LP. Five of the songs have had internet radio air play, 'Affliction' aired on the Daily Source Code on PodShow.com with Adam Curry, earning Dan Anibal excellent reviews from the former MTV host.

His song ‘Affliction’ has earned an Honorable Mention from the 14th Annual Billboard World Song Contest and it will also be part of the Boom Boom Bands 2007 Compilation-World Hunger Benefit.
The album will be distributed nationally through stores such as Best Buy, Hot Topic, Interpunk.com, Smartpunk.com, iTunes, as well as 100's of "mom & pop" type CD stores.
Also Dan Anibal will be part of 'New Jersey Rockers for Life' compilation CD together with iLLUMINA Records and Ground Control in an effort to stop drunk driving.

Dan Anibal is one of those extraordinary people who knew from an early age that music is his passion. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Dan migrated to the United States in 1991. He studied keyboard, classical piano and music theory and earned his BA in Music. Dan’s passion for music began at an early age listening to some of the great pop and rock artists of the 70s and 80s as well as classical music which made the biggest imprint in his life.
Dan’s writing is inspired by personal experiences, past relationships, and of course—love. He is also extremely influenced by world events across the globe and uses music as a way to educate and bring people together. Dan’s gift for creating pictures with his words is every songwriters dream. He is a gifted songwriter and musician with a powerful voice that gives you chills.
His latest album "Take me There", follow up to his debut album "The Circus", is a new approach to music for Dan. He has ventured into a more electronic, synth, alternative rock sound without losing his intensity and passion for music and giving each song its own identity and story to tell. Take me There has a driving force in songs like Never Knew and These Sounds, a romantic canvas in Shy Love and Take Me There, inner reflections in songs like Cold and Lucky Hand, a hard rock sound in Humor Me, and a blues rock sound in More Time To Love You More.
Starting this fall Dan will be touring and performing his latest album with his band as well as a solo act.
Take me There is a new beginning for Dan, with 3 more albums already demoed, there is lots of new music from him to look forward to.
