Lyrics

Humble Heroes

Written By: Dan Aranda

The color of the people, was black against the sky. And what made you so different was what made millions cry out "There is a world, where humble heroes die."
My momma stood on a mountain. My daddy rode on a boulder headin to hide, where humble heroes died. Arms outstretched to heaven, they fight their reasons why.
We shook the hands of the devil. We took our fight to the righteous streets, was a crime. And humble heroes died hands locked together, and no one heard their cry.
We must believe that our children will stand up and deny, that what makes them so different, is what makes millions cry out "There is a world, where humble heroes die." Arms locked together, they shout their reasons why.
I believe in humble heroes.
