Dana Reed

Dana Reed is a Mid-Valley keyboard and vocal artist born and raised in Oregon. His first gig was early morning on May 5th, 1953 at the Sacred Heart hospital in Eugene. The Obstetrician did not think much of his singing at the time, and slapped him. Dana, undaunted however, went on to play and sing at many venues around the valley, both solo, and with other artists.

Picture hearing covers in arrangements that are unique, with instrumentation that is surprising. Imagine originals that have both classic pop phrasing and unexpected turns. My influences are various samplings of popular music generally between 1955 and 1975 that has been pushed through my personal perspective. Its often rhythmic and always sincere.
