Lyrics

Love Love

Written By: Dan Fournier

Love is buying you a drink
Love is your cell number
Written on a Guinness coaster
(416) 349-8944

Love will show a little cleavage
Love is the courtesy to stare
Love keeps roofies in the pocket
Trojans near the bed

Love's a closet full of toys
Love is a good head shot on line
Love is a spin class at the gym
Love is a whiter smile

Love is spreading STDs
Love lays a life down for a friend
Love is buying you a drink
And gin is the key to your belt

Maybe we should all get naked
Maybe we should all where masks
Maybe we should all join hands
We could call it love

Love brings twister to the party
Love is the hand that took a chance
Love is innocent and wanting
Like Revlon on a virgin's face

Love is a cabaret
Love is a lullaby
Love is buying you a drink
So love love if you like

Maybe we should all get naked
Maybe we should all where masks
Maybe we should all join hands
We could call it love

Like a Manikin

Written By: Dan Fournier

Lipstick glitter baby star
Who can't look sexy in the dark?
Lashes bathing in mascara on a sandy shadowed shore

You're looking mass produced tonight
Clone me, baby hold me tight
Learn a party trick and use it to impress somebody on the guest list

You look like a manikin
I love you like a magazine
You look like a manikin
I love you like a magazine

One more swank party
Filled with walking resumes
Glance over my shoulder one more time and I'll slap you in the face

Pin stripes, Half-Windsor smile
Red carpet flowing in our veins tonight
Do you mind if I check my hair in your sun glasses?

You look like a manikin
I love you like a magazine
You look like a manikin
I love you like a magazine

Lipstick glitter baby star
Idols are "i"s with little dresses on
Please feel free to call me anytime you think you're looking hot!

You look like a manikin
I love you like a magazine
You look like a manikin
I love you like a magazine

Behind The Curtain

Written By: Dan Fournier

The best reason for breaking up is loving somebody else,
A last kiss can be cathartic but the good-bye should be clean-cut,
Do take your sorrow on the rocks sipping spinning memory,
To pass out on the carpet and sink into its earthy weave.

The best reason for making love is full moon French Merlot,
The modern prince gets lazy,
Don't prick your finger on that spinning wheel,
Behind the curtain, velvet passion, flicker red light lips,
You can't quite grasp the treasure but you can feel it with your finger tips

Behind the curtain
a midnight masquerade
Behind the curtain
a drunken cabaret
Behind the curtain with you

Just past the eyelid, a dim lit passage, deeper in the maze,
An innocent Devotchka tossed around upon the stage,
Behind the brestplate, a crimson gateway, guestbook on your right,
Sign your name and date it, and please include the number of nights

Behind the curtain
a midnight masquerade
Behind the curtain
a drunken cabaret
Behind the curtain with you

The best reason for waking up is re-exchanging names,
Morning time amnesia, another groggy embrace,
Under the covers, beautiful strangers, flicker red light lips,
You can't quite grasp the treasure but you can feel it with your finger tips

Behind the curtain
a midnight masquerade
Behind the curtain
a drunken cabaret
Behind the curtain with you
