Bio

Dan Fournier and The Pill (Toronto based)

Before taking the stage at The Cameron House, Dan Fournier and The Pill stroll down Queen St. W. in crazy makeup and classy costumes. Hipsters stare, people want to be in pictures with them. They embody everything about pop culture that their music pokes fun at.
Once on stage, Dan Fournier captures the audience with relevant lyrics, and catchy original compositions. The audience laughs at the ironic references and dances to the quirky beats. His songs have a unique depth to them but can also be enjoyed on the surface
Notable influences: Tom Waits, Rufus Wainwright, J.S. Bach, Green Day, Run With The Kittens, Laurie Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Narvana, and Hawksley Workman.
Dan Fournier recorded "Love Love" with The Humours and has toured with them in the US many times durring the last 5 years. Both The Pill and The Humours consist only of friendly, creative, driven, and talented artists who really love to perform.
