The Danger Bear sound is haunting - beautifully written, raw but soothing vocals, its definitely a little bit country and a little bit rock n roll... give me music without a backing track. Music that was written after a night of whiskey and a morning of heartache, music that runs wild and isnt constrained by networks or ticket sales. Give me Danger Bear.
- Andrea Bell, editor - GLITTERATI MAGAZINE

"Their set, full of seven-minute, shape-shifting epics, was a difficult one to follow, but the kick-in-the-pants alt-country outfit Danger Bear kept the energy high, testing the limits of The Basement's P.A. as well as their banjo, guitar and mandolin strings with a handful of lively tunes."

"Next up, a completely-revamped Danger Bear showed off a few new members and a much beefier sound to go with them. Jacob Jones’ sorrowful, hellbent, beer-soaked outlaw anthems sounded better than I’d ever heard them."
-Seth Graves - The Tennessean

Danger Bear formed in early 2008 in Nashville, Tennessee as a product of other towns. Jacob Jones and Brandon Wilson grew up together in Atlanta and moved to New York city in 2004. After several years in the music scene there, they moved back south to Nashville in the fall of 2007. Greg Celentano moved to Nashville from Knoxville, TN and the 3 started playing in a living room late night after the bar. The living proved to small however, and they soon moved the circus to stages all over Nashville. They have since put out their debut EP recording in August of 2008 and are touring through out the fall. The entire sound feels like one long back porch party with chimes of Springsteen, Neil Young, and even Hank himself. The boys play with vigor and are not to be out done. But when the dust settles on the stage, you might just find a diamond lost in the beer bottles bottle and cigarette ash. DANGER BEAR.
