Bio
Danger Field is a resurrection of the Tamm Jamm Blues Band, whose roots are in the vibrant Tulsa and Chicago area blues scenes. The founding lead guitarist, David Skinner, is currently honored in the Blues Hall of Fame. Gigging casually as a tight unit of passionate musicians in the Fort Wayne area off and on since 2006, we now come out as Danger Field, going way beyond standard Blues into the stratosphere of Rock, Funk, R&B, and Soul.
We are available as a compact 3-man unit but also have additional Bass, Guitar and Vocal talent on retainer and ready to accommodate the biggest festival, corporate gathering or Casino gig.
Danger Field is hitting the ground running with a high energy show with the intensity of James Brown injected with the rockin theatrics of Queen and AC/DC. But we keep touch with the soul of the blues and it drips out of every note. We're here for the crowd and throw in an occasional parody with tons of audience participation. Knock... KNOCK!!! on wood. (Our old fans will know.) It will just take a few cool strains of guitar for yours ears to perk up as we go into Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls. Stick em yo mouth!
Tamm Jamm is the music business veteran in the mix and can be recognized by his ironically cool beret and soul-papa vocals.
Shaun the Fox is the court jester and will often be drumming maniacally with that crazy party spirit and infective groove.
Jason Harris, the reserved one, is an ordained minister and post-Graduate student who can be found chilling in the corner with his briar pipe. But when the lights go out, watch the beast unleashed as the fretboard melts away!
