Bio

Dangeroo is an experimental Duo who consist of Ofir Ganon (Israel) and Neil Roberts (Kansas City). The two met in the underground free improv scene of Brooklyn, just six months ago. Dangeroo is driven by exploring and bending the frequencies produced from their instruments, to transcend the basic sound wave of the instrument. Remaining truthful to being a duo, Dangeroo uses no looping or over dub to fill the space- but rather they explore more authentic ways of filling the space with dynamic and complex sounds. Their live show features sounds that may be mistaken for being created electronically- yet everything is created from live instruments. Their music is visual and deeply conceptual, often even collaborating with visual artists for their performances. Dangeroo is releasing their first EP October 2nd 'Tortugo,' which is completely self-produced by Ganon and Roberts.
