Bio
Danger Pin really began when jazz saxophonist Matthew Horton met comedy writer/actress Samantha Gurewitz in a basement on New Year’s Eve 2007. They created a comedy variety show combining their comedy and music talents (Gen & Derrick: Bootie Earthquake) before officially forming Danger Pin in 2010. They have since played their unique blend of comedy pop music around New York City in such venues as the Parkside Lounge, Lit Lounge, the Knitting Factory and the UCB Theater.
